The college is continuously updating its IT facilities. The new computer units and other IT related appliances like smart panels, projectors, Wi-Fi connections, sound systems etc. have been added in the repertoire of the college during the last few years. The college uses specially designed Digital Campus Application to deal with all the e-services (e-governance). There is total 80 computers and 2 laptops available in the college to deal with all the academic and administrative works. Antivirus software is installed in all the systems to keep PCs virus free.
Computer Laboratories:
- Separate computer lab is available attached with department of computer science. To concretize the idea of optimum use of available resources, the students are also allowed to work in the computer lab during non-practical hours. There are 17 HP computers with advanced individual configurations, separate 3GB RAM and 320GB hard disk.
- Additionally, browsing centre is available in the reading room of the central library where students can browse for e-resources. 10 HP computers are available with high individual configurations of 8GB RAM and 256GB hard disk.
- Language lab is made available for the students to learn English and other modern Indian languages (MIL) where 10 computers of sufficient configuration are set.
ICT Enabled Classrooms and Seminar Halls:
There are six ICT enabled classrooms and seminar halls available in the college, equipped with Smart board (Interactive Panel), LCD projector, sound system, CCTV camera etc. for effective teaching-learning, which also help in conducting online classes, webinars and other online activities.
Media Center:
For making effective teaching-learning process, creation of teaching materials, recording videos, lectures, programmes etc., college has well equipped media centre.
Wi-Fi Facility:
Three broadband connections (up to 500 mbps speed) with Wi-Fi facility for internet access to all the students and the staff are available in the college building.
Teaching Tools:
- Teachers use Google Classroom as a learning management system (LMS).
- Free G-suite is used for online meetings and webinars. Meanwhile, college also purchase licenced Zoom.us software for the organization of webinars, online classes and other activities.
- College has its own YouTube channel where teaching videos and video recordings of the college activities are uploaded time to time.
CCTV Cameras:
24 X 7 CCTV surveillance is available in the whole J.A.T. campus including classrooms, examination halls, offices, playground, main gate and main entrance of the college building.
Other IT Facilities:
- SOUL 3.0 (Inflibnet) software is used as an ILMS in the College’s Central Library. The college also subscribes to INFLIBNET NLIST and other memberships for e-resources and remote access.
- One 45-inch television is available in the Principal’s office.
- The latest version of Tally is used for account i.e. TSS (Tally Software Services Silver New).
- College also made available the UPS facility where one online UPS and two power inverters are available.
- There are six setups of LAN facility with internet connectivity.
